NBA 2K18 players will notice that MyTeam and MyGM/MyLeague modes are no longer displaying a couple of issues. One of the most important fixes concerns MyTeam online games and the number of fouls. In some cases, players were removed from matches because the system didn't correctly assess the number of fouls. This extremely irritable issue was fixed. Historic players can be customized with shoes from any brand. The Edit Lineup interface now shows a player's positions allowing users to easily build or modify their lineups. After a MyTeam game, the total number of NBA 2K18 points was not always correctly shown but this shouldn't happen anymore from now on. Buffs from shoes and badges are now properly applied in pack and Playoffs. 

The next fixes concern MyGM/MyLeague mode. Premiere players would sometimes have to wait until the free agency was finished before entering a low level contract. The issue that prevented them from engaging in a near-minimum contract was fixed. Another change about contracts is about the editing feature. Players will now see more options. There is also the possibility to modify contracts extension. Class balance is a main concern for the development team. Some changes regarding draft classes are coming with Patch 5 but the developers reassure the community that they will keep working on this system to make it better. Users will be glad to know that basketball players are now displayed in the right lineup order. This is seen in the training and system proficiency menus. Another issue that was fixed was occurring in the Rotation Timeline menu. In some cases, an Advanced Rotation couldn't have been enabled. This will not happen anymore. The issue with staff members' portraits was also fixed. All these changes and many others are available as soon as NBA 2K18 is updated to the new patch.
