NBA 2K20 players are looking forward to playing the next title in the famous basketball simulation franchise. While the new game is still a few months away, we can use this time to review the info that has been made available by the game officials.
Speculating is fun but we can only trust the info revealed through the official sources such as the NBA 2K20's official Twitter page. We have compiled all the available info so far. Let's take a look at it and get a better idea about the 2020 installment.
NBA 2K21 is coming to next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. It will be released before the consoles come out so you can play it as soon as you get your next-gen console. A TikTok video from gameplay director Mike Wang promises us that the next-gen loading time will be unbelievably fast. The video shows Wang snapping his fingers and saying NBA 2K21. Supposedly, that's how fast the game will load. We'll just have to wait and see about this one. On release day, the game is coming to Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. NBA 2K21 will feature new player scans.
Once again, the info was released on TikTok. Here are some of the players that will have new scans: Shai, Steven Adams, Ingram, Jokic, Drummond, Rui Hachimura, Bol Bol, and Bam Adebayo. We also have a sneak peek at the soundtrack. You will be playing the new game and enjoying the hottest songs from Polo G, Roddy Ricch, Stormzy, Tory Lanez, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. The cover players have been announced too.
This year we have four types of game versions. First, we have current-gen and next-gen. The latter refers to PS5 and Xbox Series X. Each gen has a standard and a special version. Damian Lillard will be on the cover of the standard edition. The special edition is called Mamba Forever and it's dedicated to Kobe Bryant.
The big question that everyone likes to ask about a new game is “When is it coming out?”. We do not have this info yet but nothing is stopping us from making an educated guess. The NBA 2K games are on a somewhat predictable release schedule. We expect a new game each year at the beginning of September.
This year, there might be a delay due to the pandemic outbreak. Considering that the game was officially confirmed at the beginning of June, a September/October release is a safe-ish bet. The pre-orders have already started on July 2nd. If you need NBA 2K21 MT at the beginning of release, visit MTStacks and get more NBA 2K MT coins!
