NBA 2K21: The Long Shadow
2K Sports has announced a new MyCareer Mode for NBA 2K21, titled The Long Shadow. The player will play as Junior, the son of a famous NBA player living with the pressure of big expectations. He will follow his father's footsteps from high school to college with the goal to reach NBA.
In The Long Shadow, the players can choose between 10 universities to begin their career as basketball players. The options are Connecticut, Florida, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Texas Tech, UCLA, Villanova, and West Virginia. This is a really cool feature because in NBA 2K19 and NBA 2K20’s story mode didn’t have real-life colleges.
Through all the course of the narrative, the players will encounter various characters played by a star-laden cast, such as Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Michael K. Williams (The Wire), Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy), Mireille Enos (World War Z) and cover stars Damian Lillard and Zion Williamson.
Ben Bishop, Visual Concepts’ senior producer in charge of MyCareer, said about The Long Shadow: “The beginning of your career leading you into the NBA, I think, was important this year, especially given a lot of the ways that gameplay has changed,” He also stated: “I think the ramp-up from high school and then into college, which is a little less challenging than playing against NBA players, is a good way to get your feet wet and learn the mechanics as you work your way toward starting.” So you know now if you are new in NBA 2K franchise begin with MyCarrer’s The Long Shadow.
A free demo of NBA 2K21 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The full game will be out on September 4th for the current generation of consoles: Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.
MTStacks store now has NBA 2K MyTeam coins available for PS4, Xbox, PC, and will support PS5 and next-gen Xbox in the near future!
