Are you an NBA 2K21 player who spends a lot of time in the Neighborhood? Then we have good news for you. Halloween is coming to this mode. Now you have the chance to get into the holiday spirit without having to go out anymore. If Halloween is not really a thing in your country, you can check it out in-game and see what the fuss is all about. So, log into NBA 2K21 The Neighborhood and head to the 2K Beach.
You will experience this autumn holiday in a sunny setting. The 2K Beach is the place where the fun happens. You will find Halloween-themed decorations and items. The Neighborhood has a spooky look, but we're sure that you won't let a few decorations scare you.
The usual activities are still going on so you can take part in your favorite games. At this point, there is no Halloween-themed content in the game, but we have indications for some events coming in the next weeks. This Neighborhood revamp is part of a bigger update that brings more to the game than decorations.
More than 60 NBA and WNBA athletes now have a more realistic look. You can now take part in the NBA Finals. The default quick play match-up features the game between Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers. The patch notes also list preparations for some 2K Beach events that should be available in October and November.
We think that these preparations might have something to do with Halloween. There should be more info on these events in the next weeks. The update also includes some gameplay fixes. The set screen movement is now more realistic. There are no more content holes that resulted in an inconsistent pull up jump shots. The shot aiming system was modified so you cannot abuse the modded controller anymore. You will need hall of fame tight handles to do park dribble moves. These moves are done with the L3 button.
MyCareer got some updates too. MyPlayer will now get the correct number of fans after he gets certain achievements. The hang that sometimes occurred after players left MyCourt after 2 versus 2 and 3 versus 3 matches will not happen anymore. MyTeam is getting ready for the Tournament Game Day that is part of the Unlimited Tournament. The second season of this mode is coming soon so there were some preparations for it. The Exchange got some improvements. A few MyGM updates were also part of the patch.
